Request for aid: Mustard Seed Orphanage, Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic
We are packing more items in with the furnishings for the seminary and chapels. Please join us in providing help to this orphanage. They currently have children between the ages of 3-16. All are mute and have special needs, mentally and physically. Check the photos to view a picture of the orphanage.
Letąs lighten their load and brighten their lives!
As a priority
Disposable diapers sizes 2-6
Toiletries: shampoo, bath soap, toothpaste, skin creams, anti-itch creams
Non aerosol mosquito repellent
Bed linens (new, gently used) twin beds
Ceiling fan for the therapy room
Clothing: underwear, footwear for children ages 316, summer climate! (new, gently used)
Also
Household: cotton swabs, laundry detergent, Band-Aids, Q-tips, safety pins, toilet paper, paper towels, tea and bath towels, latex/non-latex gloves
Office: copy paper, pens, etc.
Educational toysLarger items: wheelchairs, walkers, crutches, therapeutic aids splints etc.
Other useful supplies you have or can acquire that we left off the list?
Baby items will be accepted for distribution in the general area of Puerto Plata.
Pre-sorting items into bags and labelling would be most helpful. For example,
łToiletries,˛ łOffice,˛ łGirls' Clothing˛ (by size if possible). This will ease
packing here so much as well as unpacking there. Bless you!
Our time is limited so please respond quickly. The sooner the better for us to
organize this final leg of the mission! June 27 would be the absolute latest to
donate.

Items can be dropped off at the shop Mon-Fri from 9-4.
We are located just off 50 Street and the Sherwood Park Freeway: 7520-49 St,
Edmonton.

I am also collecting theological and spiritual books in English for the
seminarians and priests as well as English/Spanish dictionaries.
Finally, I am collecting rosaries and crucifixes for the Diocese there to
distribute.
